If you can dream it, the Jackson Custom Shop can build it. Working with Custom Shop Master Builder Mike Shannon, Broderick designed his own special take on the venerable Jackson Soloist. The offset body is perfectly balanced for increased playability. The arch-top mahogany body provides a rich, deep sound, while the luscious quilted maple top adds clarity. Furthermore, the black body, neck and headstock binding match perfectly with the transparent red finish, for an overall luxurious look. All in all, the Broderick Soloist 6 is high spec guitar and truly a sight to behold. Includes Ernie Ball strap locks and case.

Soloist 6: sound quality and playing comfort

Broderick has seen many stages during his extensive career. Through touring you really get to know your instrument. That's why this Jackson Artist Signatue model is the 'final product' of Chris' experience. He designed the Custom DiMarzio humbucking pickups himself, which are direct-mounted for optimal signal transfer. To ensure ultimate tuning stability he selected a recessed Floyd Rose Pro bridge. The guitar will always return to perfect pitch thanks to the locking nut, even after heavy divebombs. The ebony fretboard is void of inlays, giving you carte blanche to let your creativity run wild without being stifled by fixed patterns. Changing strings is a quick fix thanks to the clever Planet Waves Auto-Trim tuners.

Chris Broderick

Chris Broderick is an American musician who is best known for his virtuoso guitar playing. Having been classically trained and having diligently practised the electric guitar, classical guitar, piano and violin, he soon grew up to become a highly skilled and versatile musician. Chris was brought into the fold of Jag Panzer, where he provided the band with complex and technical riffs for over ten years. Afterwards he joined Nevermore on tour, where he showcased ferocious lead work alongside Steve Smyth. In 2008 he joined the legendary Megadeth, but decided to part ways in 2014 to pursue his own musical direction, which we can now hear in Act of Defiance. Every guitarist can surely learn something from this all-rounder.
